Welcome to the RSA Conference 2027!
We are thrilled to introduce our theme, Every Idea, Every Voice, Innovation with Purpose, celebrating the diversity of knowledge, experience, and creativity across renal care. For the new or early-career renal health professional, learning is the foundation for growth and innovation. Asking questions, seeking guidance and bringing fresh perspectives can challenge established thinking and uncover new possibilities. Your curiosity and enthusiasm can be powerful drivers of change.
For the experienced renal health professional, years of clinical knowledge bring a different but equally valuable perspective. Experience helps us recognise patterns, anticipate challenges and identify opportunities to do things better. Sharing that knowledge through mentoring, teaching and collaboration helps strengthen the profession and shape those who follow. From the wisdom of a nurse who has worked in dialysis for decades, to the perspective of a newly graduated professional; from transplantation and conservative kidney care to education, research and leadership — every experience adds value.
At the heart of all we do are the people living with kidney disease. Whether through clinical practice, research, education, quality improvement or new technology, our purpose is to make their care safer, more accessible, more meaningful and more person-centred. Often, change begins with simply asking, “Can we do this better?”
Our sub-theme, “Learning and Innovation Go Hand in Hand,” reflects this shared journey. Each session provides an opportunity to learn, connect and explore the latest developments in clinical care, research and quality outcomes that are shaping the future of renal health. The future of renal care belongs to all of us. By sharing our knowledge, listening to different perspectives and learning from one another, we can turn ideas into meaningful change. Join us at RSA Conference 2027 as we celebrate renal health professionals at every stage of their journey and create a space where every idea is valued, every voice is heard, and innovation has purpose.
