Rajeev Kumar, a Senior Renal Physiologist at Auckland City Hospital with years of experience in renal services across acute, chronic, critical care, and paediatric services. He excels in service leadership, staff mentoring, quality improvement, and multidisciplinary team coordination. Currently an aspiring PhD candidate, Rajeev’s research focuses on cardiac biomarker trajectories and outcomes in end-stage kidney disease, aiming to enhance clinical risk stratification. He is a board director for the Renal Society of Australasia, board member for NZASRDP ,has chaired conference committees, and actively contributes to professional education and research.
