I trained as a Registered Nurse at Birmingham City University in UK and worked as Renal RN and CN at Northampton General Hospital. I then migrated to Australia in 2013 and worked as a Nurse Unit Manager at Woorabinda Multipurpose Health Service in Central Queensland.  My passion about working with patients with complex chronic diseases led me to advance further in my studies, obtaining a master’s in nursing (Chronic and complex diseases) at Charles Sturt University in 2018. In 2019 I was employed by Ipswich Hospital, as a Renal Nurse Navigator. I then undertook a Master of Nurse Practitioner program in which I graduated as a NP in 2021. I have 18 years’ experience of working within the Nephrology field.
