Jamen Wilcox, a descendant of the Mamu people of Daradgee, is an Yidinji man living in Cairns in Far North Queensland. For over 20 years, Jamen has been heavily involved in the renal space, as a consumer, advocate and researcher. Through his previous employment, businesses and now with Synapse Australia, Jamen has worked extensively throughout Australia, in urban cities and remote communities, to assist in improving people’s health and wellbeing.
