Dr Padmini Pai – Social worker
Dr Padmini Pai works is the Clinical Governance Unit and is the Program lead for ISLHD popular SEED staff wellbeing program. She has a master’s and PhD in Social Work. She has worked in ISLHD since 2007 in various capacities – Senior Social Worker, Service Manager CAMHS, Leadership facilitator, Program lead for a district wide project Fit for Frailty, Program Manager Patient reported Measures and most recently the Program Lead for SEED. She has presented in various national and international conferences (most recent being on October 2nd 2022 in UK where the SEED program was featured as one of the topic of choice). She has been the recipient of many awards and her most treasured one is the CE’s Extraordinary award for Leadership Excellence in 2020 for her work in supporting the front-line workers in Milton during the Bush fires.
Padmini takes great pride in placing our LHD on the map of the state and the SEED program is now chosen by the Ministry of Health to be showcased in enabler 2 of the Elevating the Human Experience document with the potential of scaling SEED to be transferable to other LHDs shortly. We are very excited that she also presented at the RSA YOUng online Renal nurses’ group across Australia and NZ.
