After 17 years working at Palmerston North hospital in peritoneal dialysis, almost 2 years ago I commenced work in the Whanganui renal service as a clinical nurse specialist focusing on pre dialysis.  Since managing the 24-hour blood pressure monitor for our renal service I have developed a special interest in the management of hypertension in Chronic Kidney disease and are enjoying gaining new skills and knowledge in this field.
