Workshop 1: Vascular Access

Designed for nurses and health professionals working in haemodialysis or with an interest in vascular access, this half-day workshop will cover.

  • Tips for dialysis access care and management
  • Patient case studies

Our workshop facilitators are highly skilled nurses specialising in the field of vascular access. Learn and apply these vital skills to improve the care of people with renal disease.

This workshop contains pre-learning online modules which enables delegates to get straight into the practical on-site learning with facilitators.



Workshop 2: Pharmacology

Our Renal Pharmacology workshop is a specialised training session focused on pharmacology related to the kidneys and renal system. This workshop is for healthcare professionals who are involved in the treatment and management of kidney-related diseases and conditions. During the Renal Pharmacology workshop, we will cover a range of topics related to medications and their effects on the kidneys.


With hands-on activities and interactive discussions, this session is designed to enhance your understanding of renal pharmacology concepts by inspiring and enabling you with the latest advancements in the area, improving your ability to provide safe and effective pharmacological care to your patients. Places are strictly limited. 



Workshop 3: Renal 101

Join us for Renal 101 - pitched for novice renal nurses who want a better understanding of their patients’ disease process, complications of chronic kidney disease and how best to empower patients to self manage.


Focusing on the pathophysiology of renal disease including common reasons for patients progressing to end stage kidney disease. Participants will walk away with understanding acid base balance, how to interpret pathology regarding metabolic acidosis, medication management and why restrictions are used for some patients and much more!
