Colette Wembenyui, Registered nurse with over ten years’ experience in providing care to a diverse group of patients including those receiving haemodialysis treatment. I currently work as Acting Clinical Nurse in the Haemodialysis Unit, as well as a Clinical Nurse Transplant with the Kidney Health Service at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, Herston, Queensland, Australia. I hold a Master of Philosophy Degree (Nursing), and I am currently a PhD Candidate at Griffith University, Queensland, Australia. My research interests include self-management of chronic kidney disease and vascular access self-management in people receiving haemodialysis for kidney failure.
