I have worked in Nephrology for over 30 years in a variety of roles. After 10 years of management, I decided to make the change and work back with patients and so for the past 5 years, I have been working in Peritoneal Dialysis. I enjoy being back working with patients and their whanau to enable them to manage a self-care therapy in their homes using a patient-centered approach.  

Professionally, I have completed my Post Graduate Diploma in Nursing. I am the secretary for the New Zealand PD Registry (NZPDR) Governance Group, Operations Team & Research Working Group and also the administrator for Te Toka Tumai Auckland’s Pressure Injury Working Group. 

In my spare time I enjoy gardening, walking, Zumba & umpiring netball but more importantly spending time with my 4 wonderful grandchildren.
