I have 15 years of experience in renal nursing and developed advanced skills in managing patients with chronic kidney disease. My subspecialties are haemodialysis and transplantation. I manage patients on haemodialysis and prepare them for renal transplant; I have extensive acute haemodialysis nursing experience and apheresis nursing for patients with antibody-mediated rejection of transplants and autoimmune disorders. I have a keen interest in patient activation and self-management and am a strong advocate for patient-centred care and partnership.
