I am the Renal CNC for Concord Hospital and have over 30 years of nursing experience with over 15 years’ experience in renal. I have worked in all areas of renal across several hospitals and brings all of that experience and knowledge to Concord Hospital. I am passionate about bring best evidenced based practice to the Unit and providing patients with the best care possible. I have a close working relationship with the dialysis population and this have developed this over the many years of their treatment. I have seen their family members grow up and get married, grandchildren born, patients receive a transplant and ultimately the passing of some patients. This has been the basis of her strong advocacy for renal patients. Chronic kidney disease affects a large proportion of the population and is evident in many patients throughout the hospital. Lisa is passionate about providing education to general wards about the intricacies of renal disease, renal patients and dialysis and supporting their management of these patients on their wards.
